We created Hearts & Homes to bring together decades of professional animal care experience with the opportunity to spend meaningful time in new places, caring for much-loved pets in the comfort of their own homes.

 

Suzy qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 1997 and went on to work as both a Head Nurse and Practice Manager within busy veterinary practices. She later retrained as a professional dog groomer, building and running a successful salon in Windsor for over ten years. During that time, she was honoured to provide grooming services for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II — work that required absolute discretion, consistency and exceptional professional standards.

 

David brings many years of senior leadership experience, managing teams and complex projects with calm judgement and reliability. Together, we provide a steady, capable presence in your home.

 

Our lifestyle gives us the flexibility to commit fully to each stay, without outside work pressures or time constraints. We devote our attention to maintaining routines, offering companionship and ensuring your home remains secure and well cared for.

 

We understand that animals miss their people. Our role is not only to care for them professionally, but to ensure they feel safe, settled and genuinely loved while you’re away.

However, during every sit our home on wheels is safely placed into storage and we travel by car instead. This allows us to reach even the most rural locations with ease and, should the need arise, transport your pets comfortably and safely.
